A Tough Economy for Everyone
I always know we are entering a slow season when I start to get dozens of calls from trades calling my Google ads looking for work! It’s almost like a cold coming on, I can feel it. Usually I am in the middle of some good work and I have some projects lined up. Lately, I’ve also seen a pattern that if I don’t have projects actually scheduled and we hit a slow down, those projects tend to get delayed because of monetary reasons.
The truth is that everyone is experiencing this tough economy. When that happens, kitchen and bath remodels usually fall quite a bit on the priority list. Roof repairs and replacements get put off another year. Wall painting also gets put off. Decks are the same.
What I wish all of my potential clients knew is that despite the seemingly high price of our work, we always strive to provide more value than what our price indicates. From start to finish, we try to walk with the customer through design and function choices and we also work really hard to build a team of guys that you will LOVE having in your home.
We also offer financing for all of our projects, so that may be an option for some.
In the end, we believe the value is there. We keep our overhead extremely low on purpose. I am writing this from my home office because I figured out 2 years ago that it just did make sense to have office space that starts at $1200 a month when all I need is a nice place to work and $150 worth of storage per month.
My trailer was also recently stolen and I’ve figured out that it was probably more headache than it was worth. When I need one, I can rent one for a very affordable price.
All of these things translate to better pricing for you as the client. I also truly believe I have the BEST tile team in all of Texas! You will be amazed at their professionalism, speed, and attention to detail!
